Long-awaited zombie sequel Dead Island 2 needed more than a trailer. To re-engage the masses, we used live action as a narrative wrapper, housing gameplay previews and demonstrating integrated Amazon Alexa Game Control technology.

Key to success was nailing a fourth-wall-breaking meta tone, steering into the game’s L.A. setting and toying with zombie tropes – while balancing the marketing component of demonstration in a way that felt organic and ownable.
