Junior Editor / VFX Op

OVERVIEW

As part of the team, your role will be to work closely with the Senior Editor to assembling raw material into a finished product suitable for online/broadcast.

The materials you work with may consist of raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, gameplay footage, graphics and special effects. This is a key role in the post-production process and the editor's skill can determine the quality and delivery of the final product.

VFX skills will also be required when creating or developing graphical elements from the creative department, such as animated supers, graphical transitions and animations. The Junior Editor/VFX Op will be part of a team and they will usually work closely with the director or creative lead to achieve the desired end result. In addition to creating work for online/broadcast use there will be a requirement to create presentation documents such as mood films or animatics as part of the agency pitch process.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work alongside the Creative department on client campaigns, and deliverables across all TV, Trailer and sometimes digital assets.
  • Communicate and present edits and information in a concise and professional manner whether in a verbal, written or visual context
  • For TV/Trailer Campaigns prepare detailed animatics showing sequence and timing of story development for television/trailer production
  • Effectively time manage yourself
  • Constantly report back on progress of projects to Senior Editor, Executive Creative Director & Account Managing Producers.
  • When required, work as a part of a wider team on brainstorm sessions with the creative department.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of working in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge of Premier and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative suite
  • Machine room/data transfer experience/knowledge is a nice-to-have
  • Gameplay capture experience/knowledge is a nice -to-have

Junior Producer / Project Manager

OVERVIEW

The ICHI Junior Producer/Project Manager is responsible for producing creative campaigns spanning Digital, Social, TV, Trailers, Print, Branding, and Experiential.

The ideal candidate exudes "can do" attitude and coolness under pressure, with the ability to (smoothly) run and deliver projects on-time, and on budget.

Your role will be to organise the creative studio and manage client accounts. You will ensure projects are delivered to clients in an efficient and timely manner. You will be expected to maintain the professionalism and quality of the ICHI brand both internally and externally at all times.

With the ICHI company model being highly collaborative and teamwork-driven, you will likely experience a range of responsibilities within the agency, and will be expected to assist with various projects and work where required. This will help with development and give the opportunity to gain a wide range of skills while working at ICHI.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the schedule for the studio, managing their diaries and making sure that everyone knows what they are doing and when. This will also involve booking freelancers and/or crew.

  • Liaising with third parties over permissions and creative instruction.

  • Making sure the server is organised and master files are backed up and correctly labelled.

  • Work with the accounts team to make sure suppliers are paid correctly and in a timely fashion. You will also be responsible for making sure invoices are submitted to clients on time.

  • Keep track of project budgets and make sure that there is no overspend.

  • Communicate effectively with senior team members in order to receive and pass on feedback, allowing for efficient and effective project development.

  • Attend client meetings and brief and take useful, concise notes that can be relayed to other members of staff.

  • Communicate effectively and politely with internal members of staff and clients.

  • Manage ICHI website and social channels by working closely with the studio and uploading regular posts (training provided).

  • Develop a keen eye for detail throughout all areas of work and when providing quality assurance for client-facing assets.

  • Manage projects with tight deadlines by communicating with the correct members of staff and seeking advice from senior creatives on best practice.

  • Report back at regular intervals on progress of projects to the Creative Director.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-year (minimum) experience in a producer/project manager role within a creative agency environment
  • College graduate
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Resourceful, flexible, quick-thinking and proactive
  • Proven ability to create and manage schedules & budgets
  • Understanding of video production/post-production
  • Understanding of advertising and marketing
  • Natural interest in Social Media trends
  • Experience in video games and entertainment is desirable

Art Director

OVERVIEW

The ICHI Art Director role combines experience, creativity, and versatility to create gold-standard, innovative campaigns for Digital, Social, TV, Trailers, Print, Branding, and Experiential.

You will contribute to the development of the company’s projects as an individual and as part of an art director/copywriter team. You will work across disciplines, with outstanding design and Photoshop skills, but also have the ability to translate your design flare to motion using Premiere + After Effects.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creative conceptualisation of client campaigns, and deliverables across all media and disciplines including Design and Advertising for Print, TV, Trailer & Digital

  • Communicate and present concepts and information in a concise and professional manner whether in a verbal, written or visual context

  • Oversee Projects from initial ideas through to final artwork/production with the aid of Production staff

  • For TV/Trailer Campaigns prepare detailed storyboards showing sequence and timing of story development for television production

  • Effectively time manage yourself

  • Constantly report back on progress of projects to Creative Director

  • When required work as a team with, Photographers, Illustrators, Other Designers, Account Managers, Website Designers and Marketing Specialists, TV  Producers & Directors

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years experience (ideally within a creative agency environment)
  • Design school qualification or equivalent
  • Appreciation for key art with the proven ability to create original digital artworks
  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere & After Effects
  • Understanding of video production/post-production
  • Strong understanding of current industry market trends
  • Good overall sense of creativity and innovation
  • Natural interest in Social Media trends
  • Resourceful, flexible, quick-thinking and proactive
  • Comfortable with team-based work structure
  • Ability to delegate, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Proven ability to work to schedules & budgets
  • Experience in video games and entertainment is desirable
