Driving pre-order excitement into a frenzy

With its triumphant return to console, Capcom’s legendary Monster Hunter series had the industry and mainstream press buzzing with the upcoming release of Monster Hunter World.

With a range of pre-order benefits available we created easy-to-understand infographics to drive sales through social and digital channels.

We then celebrated a long-running race of characters unique to the Monster Hunter universe with the Palico Creation video. By educating core fans on how to create their own feline friends we were able to generate excitement before release and communicate the fun and quirky Monster Hunter brand values. To really hammer things home, an accolades trailer was rolled out on launch.

MHW sold over 10 million copies and Capcom saw it's year on year revenue increase 70% with the game's success. 

Building on the amazing response, Capcom then released Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Switch, for which we produced the release trailer and digital marketing assets.
