The most anticipated remake in gaming history had arrived. And with a successful launch campaign under our belts, we approached players who still needed a little convincing. Our strategy was to create the ultimate hollywood-trailer-style ‘101 video’, with kinetic text guiding viewers through a crash course in Final Fantasy. The versatile asset could then be used to create a suite of standalone content pieces for use across social, pre-roll and beyond.
Applying a fresh, energetic approach, and focusing on relatable themes, characters and action, we were able to demystify the brand, whilst presenting the remake as not only iconic, but an important game for 2020. And, best of all, it's not too late to join the adventure.
